My Top Twenty (or so) Favorite Recordings of 1998

Well, I put out the first two records, P.E.E.'s "The Roaring Mechanism" and
Virginia Dare's "Baby Got Away", on my own label (Absolutely Kosher) this
year and despite permission in the "rules" of this poll, they are too close
to my heart to put on this list.  That being said, I have no qualms about
placing them beside any other record on the list.
